United Nigeria Airlines has announced the temporary suspension of its flight operations in and out of Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, due to emergency runway repairs and maintenance works being carried out by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

According to a flight operations advisory issued by the airline on Friday, 19 April 2025, all United Nigeria Airlines flights originally scheduled to operate to and from Enugu will now be redirected to Chinua Achebe Airport, Anambra. This interim arrangement is expected to last from 19 April to 6 May 2025.
