Ethiopian Airlines Soars to Glory Once Again, Crowned ‘Best Airline in Africa’ for the 8th Consecutive Year by SKYTRAX

Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s aviation giant, has reaffirmed its supremacy on the continent’s skies by clinching the prestigious title of Best Airline in Africa at the 2025 World Airline Awards, held at the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget.

This milestone marks the eighth consecutive year the airline has received the coveted accolade from SKYTRAX, the international air transport rating organisation.

The celebrated event, often referred to as the “Oscars of the Aviation Industry”, brought together leading airlines from around the globe to honour excellence in service, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Ethiopian Airlines not only took home the top continental award but also swept a series of other distinguished accolades, including:

Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr Mesfin Tasew, Group Chief Executive Officer of Ethiopian Airlines, expressed pride and gratitude for the recognition.
