Air Peace Scales Up Domestic Flight Capacity, Reintroduces Warri Services for Yuletide Travel
Nigeria’s foremost airline, Air Peace, has unveiled an expanded domestic flight schedule and the restoration of services to Warri, in a strategic move aimed at accommodating the expected surge in passenger traffic during the forthcoming festive season.
The carrier said the expansion is a direct response to increasing travel requests from passengers planning end-of-year journeys, stressing that additional capacity has been deployed across its domestic network to ensure smoother travel, improved connectivity and enhanced customer satisfaction.
With effect from Sunday, 14 December 2025, Air Peace confirmed that extra seats and increased frequencies have been introduced on several high-demand routes traditionally associated with heavy festive traffic. These include flights linking Lagos and Abuja with key destinations such as Owerri, Asaba, Enugu, Port Harcourt, Kano, Benin and Anambra.
The airline noted that these routes usually experience significant passenger volumes as families, business travellers and holidaymakers move across the country during the yuletide period.
In addition, the airline disclosed that it has strengthened its operations to Northern Nigeria by increasing flight frequencies and improving connections to cities such as Yola, Maiduguri and Gombe. These destinations will enjoy enhanced access via Lagos and Abuja on selected days, a development Air Peace said would help facilitate seamless movement for passengers travelling to and from the region.
A major highlight of the announcement is the resumption of Air Peace’s Warri operations, a move that has been warmly received by travellers and stakeholders in the Niger Delta.
The airline confirmed that daily return flights on the Lagos–Warri route have been reinstated, with services increased to two flights per day. Furthermore, flights on the Abuja–Warri route are scheduled to resume from 17 December 2025, further strengthening connectivity to the oil-rich city.

Air Peace stated that tickets for the reinstated Warri services are already on sale, assuring passengers of adequate capacity and reliable schedules throughout the festive season.
The airline described the latest expansion as part of its proactive operational planning to meet rising passenger demand while maintaining its reputation for reliability and extensive domestic coverage.
Passengers were also advised to plan ahead and book their flights early through the airline’s official website or accredited travel agents, as demand is expected to remain consistently high in the weeks ahead.
The latest move once again underscores Air Peace’s role as a dominant force in Nigeria’s domestic aviation market, particularly during peak travel periods when efficient air connectivity is critical to supporting social, economic and cultural activities across the country.
