UBA Rewards Customers with Over N400 Million in Anniversary Bonuses Under Bumper Account Scheme
United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has rewarded thousands of customers with more than N400 million in anniversary bonuses under its flagship UBA Bumper Account, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to rewarding customer loyalty and encouraging a strong savings culture across Nigeria.
The latest payout, described as one of the largest loyalty reward disbursements under the Bumper Account initiative since its introduction, saw eligible customers receive cash bonuses credited directly into their accounts.
The bank said the initiative demonstrates its resolve to create lasting value for customers who consistently save with UBA.
The UBA Bumper Account is a specialised savings product designed to reward customers for maintaining and growing their savings over time.
Under the scheme, every eligible account holder receives a cash bonus upon reaching the account’s annual anniversary, making disciplined saving both beneficial and financially rewarding.
Speaking on the milestone, UBA’s Head of Retail Products, Tomiwa Sotiloye, said the bank remains focused on ensuring customers derive tangible benefits from their relationship with the financial institution.
According to him, customer loyalty deserves meaningful recognition, adding that the anniversary bonus programme is one of the ways the bank expresses appreciation to customers who continue to entrust UBA with their financial aspirations.

He noted that both existing and prospective customers can conveniently open a UBA Bumper Account through any UBA branch, the UBA Mobile Banking App, by dialling *919#, or online, enabling them to qualify for future anniversary rewards under the scheme.
Also commenting on the development, UBA’s Group Head of Brands, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Alero Ladipo, said the bank’s customer-centric philosophy continues to shape the design and delivery of its products and services.
