I will do everything I can to ensure the club succeeds. Who knows? Maybe from this club, our stars will play at the national level. The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step,” Oramalugo stated.

The Controller further disclosed that he had engaged with the coaching director, Danladi Musa, and the Nigeria Customs Service Seme Command coach, Moruf Matomi, to assess the club’s needs.

He assured them that steps would be taken to address existing challenges and enhance the welfare of players.

“All I need from you is discipline, dedication, and unity. These values will help us achieve our goals,” he added.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with both sides displaying impressive skill and sportsmanship. The star player of the Badagry Football Club was Victor Okechukwu Agali, a former Nigerian Super Eagles player, while the goalkeepers for the respective teams were Dala (Nigeria Customs) and Gbenga (Badagry United).

The patron of the Badagry Football Club is Zarki Adamu, while the newly appointed Controller, Comptroller Ben Oramalugo, serves as the patron of the Nigeria Customs Service Seme Area Command Football Club.

Delivering a message from the Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi, MFR, Comptroller Oramalugo reaffirmed the NCS leadership’s commitment to youth development.
