FAAN Unveils FNAC 2025, Set to Drive New Investments, Global Partnerships in Nigeria’s Aviation Sector

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has officially announced the 3rd edition of its flagship aviation gathering, the FAAN National Aviation Conference (FNAC 2025), scheduled to take place on 17 and 18 November 2025 at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos.

With the theme “Elevating the Nigerian Aviation Industry through Investment, Partnerships, and Global Engagements,” the high-profile conference is expected to convene a powerful mix of policymakers, global investors, aviation experts, regulators, and industry leaders to explore transformative strategies for strengthening Nigeria’s aviation sector and positioning it as a key driver of national and regional economic growth.

Speaking ahead of the event, the Chairperson of the FNAC 2025 Organising Committee and FAAN’s Director of Human Resources and Administration, Dr Emiola Luqman, highlighted the timeliness of the conference, stressing that Nigeria’s aviation sector is ripe for expansion.

According to her, “The Nigerian aviation industry is at a defining stage, presenting vast opportunities for investment and innovation. With its large and growing population, strategic geographical position, and the Federal Government’s commitment to infrastructure development and regulatory reform, Nigeria offers a strong value proposition for investors.”

She added that FNAC has continued to serve as a “credible platform for engagement and collaboration,” noting that the 2025 edition will showcase both the progress made so far and the “immense potential that lies ahead.”

Since its debut, the FAAN National Aviation Conference has evolved into a premier knowledge-sharing and policy-shaping platform, contributing significantly to strengthening stakeholder engagement, driving innovation, and stimulating investment in airport infrastructure and aviation-aligned sectors.

The upcoming 2025 edition will feature a robust lineup of high-level activities carefully designed to deepen dialogue and unlock new investment pathways.

These include: Industry Expert Discussions; Investment Forum; State Governors’ Forum; Aviation Exhibitions; and Career Fair for Aspiring Aviation Professionals.

FAAN noted that FNAC 2025 will not only highlight opportunities for public–private partnerships but also stimulate strategic discussions on improving operational efficiency, expanding airport infrastructure, enhancing safety, and boosting Nigeria’s competitiveness in the global aviation landscape.

The Authority therefore extended an open invitation to investors, development partners, government institutions, airlines, aviation service providers, and other stakeholders to participate fully in what it described as a pivotal event for advancing the sector.

FAAN reiterated that the aim of FNAC 2025 is to strengthen collaboration, deepen investment, and chart a forward-looking and sustainable future for Nigeria’s aviation industry.
