Peter Obi Commends Air Peace Over Seamless London Travel Experience
Former Anambra State Governor and presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has praised Air Peace for what he described as an impressive and seamless travel experience on the airline’s Lagos-London route, while also commending its complimentary ride service offered in partnership with SIMPLAA.
Speaking shortly after arriving in London aboard an Air Peace flight, Obi lauded the airline’s service delivery, stating that his experiences on the route had consistently been smooth and enjoyable since the carrier commenced operations to the United Kingdom.
According to him, the airline has demonstrated the capacity of indigenous carriers to compete favourably on international routes while delivering quality services to passengers.
He urged Nigerians to support homegrown airlines, particularly those making strides in the highly competitive international aviation market.
“Since the inception of Air Peace’s London flights, each one of these experiences with Air Peace have been very smooth and very exciting, and I believe that we should all patronise Air Peace,” Obi stated.
The former Anambra governor also expressed appreciation for the airline’s complimentary drop-off ride service, which is being provided through its partnership with SIMPLAA. He noted that the initiative added convenience and comfort to the overall passenger experience.
“The whole experience of having even the complimentary drop-off ride makes it even more fascinating,” he added.
The complimentary ride service forms part of Air Peace’s customer-focused initiatives on its London route and is designed to provide seamless onward transportation for Business Class and First Class passengers upon arrival.
The initiative underscores the airline’s commitment to enhancing comfort, convenience and premium service delivery for travellers.
Since launching its Lagos-London operations, Air Peace has continued to strengthen its position in international aviation by offering competitive fares and passenger-centred services aimed at boosting Nigeria’s presence in the global aviation industry.
Industry observers say the airline’s growing reputation on the London route reflects increasing confidence in Nigerian carriers and highlights the potential for indigenous airlines to compete successfully on long-haul international destinations while promoting national pride.
