Emirates Rolls Out Global ‘Season of Rewards’ Promotion to Boost Loyalty Benefits for Skywards Members
Emirates has launched an expansive global promotional campaign titled Season of Rewards, introducing a host of incentives for members of its frequent flyer programme, Emirates Skywards, including bonus Miles, discounted reward flights and accelerated tier progression opportunities.
The campaign, which commenced on 21 May and will run until 31 August 2026, is targeted at enhancing customer engagement by giving travellers more ways to earn and redeem Skywards Miles across flights, hotel stays, car rentals, holiday bookings and lifestyle services.
The airline said the initiative reflects its continued drive to reward loyalty while improving travel value and flexibility for millions of members around the world.
Under the campaign, members booking flights on Emirates and flydubai will benefit from enhanced Cash+Miles redemption rates, allowing them to stretch the value of their Miles further during the promotional period.
According to the airline, 2,000 Skywards Miles can now be redeemed for savings of 30 US dollars instead of the standard 15 dollars, effectively doubling the usual value.
The offer applies to all cabins, destinations and fare categories, while also covering travel add-ons such as lounge access, preferred seating and excess baggage.
Speaking on the initiative, Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President, Emirates Skywards, said the campaign was designed to provide customers with greater flexibility and richer travel experiences.
He noted that the programme caters to a broad range of travellers, including families planning holidays, passengers taking weekend trips and customers seeking stopovers in Dubai, while also helping members maximise their loyalty rewards more efficiently.
In another major incentive, members travelling on Emirates or flydubai before 31 August 2026 will receive an additional 20 per cent bonus Tier Miles on every eligible flight, enabling faster movement through the programme’s membership levels.
The airline explained that the offer complements reduced Tier Miles thresholds introduced during the campaign, thereby making it easier for members to attain or retain Silver, Gold and Platinum status levels.
Emirates Skywards currently operates four membership categories – Blue, Silver, Gold and Platinum – with each tier offering increasing levels of travel privileges, exclusive airport services and premium rewards.
Beyond air travel, the campaign extends to the loyalty programme’s extensive global partner ecosystem.
Members booking accommodation through participating hotel brands, including Marriott International, IHG Hotels & Resorts and Jumeirah, will earn 50 per cent bonus Skywards Miles during the promotional window.
Similarly, customers using participating car rental providers such as Hertz, Avis, Budget, Europcar and Sixt will also receive 50 per cent bonus Miles on qualifying rentals.
The airline further disclosed that members flying with selected partner airlines, including United Airlines, Air Canada and Japan Airlines, will qualify for additional Miles as part of the campaign.
Travellers booking vacation packages through Emirates Holidays are equally expected to benefit from 50 per cent bonus Miles on eligible packages booked within the promotional period.
According to Emirates, members can earn up to 10,000 bonus Miles per participating partner, although customers must register in advance to take advantage of the offers.
The airline added that bonus Miles earned during the campaign would be credited within 60 days after the promotion ends.
As part of efforts to expand redemption opportunities, Emirates Skywards also introduced a 50 per cent reduction on reward flight bookings with low-cost carriers easyJet and Jet2.
Under the arrangement, members can redeem reward flights and travel extras from as low as 4,500 Miles instead of the regular 9,000 Miles across all participating routes and fare classes.
The loyalty programme, which recently earned recognition as the “Best Global Airline Loyalty Program”, currently serves more than 38 million members globally.
Members of Emirates Skywards can redeem Miles for flight tickets, cabin upgrades, hotel stays, shopping vouchers and a range of exclusive travel and lifestyle experiences through the airline’s expanding international partner network.
