Nigeria’s largest carrier, Air Peace, has awarded six fortunate Nigerians with return tickets to London at the recent Silverbird Man of the Year Awards.

Sponsored by Air Peace, the raffle draw held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, marked a momentous occasion for the six winners who were selected amidst the glitz and glamour of the prestigious award ceremony.

Dr. Allen Onyema, Chairman of Air Peace, orchestrated the raffle draw, elevating the event to one of its paramount highlights.

Expressing his felicitations to the fortunate recipients, Onyema announced that they would partake in Air Peace’s inaugural flight to London scheduled for March 30, 2024.

Additionally, the airline pledged to expedite the visa processing for the winners, ensuring a seamless journey.

As Air Peace gears up for its much-anticipated launch of London flights on March 30, 2024, the airline unveiled remarkably competitive fares – a return economy ticket is priced at 1.2 million naira, while a return business ticket costs 4 million naira.

Notably, Air Peace extends a generous 15 percent discount to Nigerian students pursuing studies in the United Kingdom, further alleviating the financial burden on families.

Onyema underscored the rationale behind the student discount, emphasising the company’s commitment to easing the financial strain on Nigerians, particularly parents grappling with exorbitant airfare expenses during their children’s academic breaks.

In a statement signed by its Head of Media and Corporate Communications, Mr Stanley Olisa, the airline said this initiative aims to empower financially disadvantaged students, particularly those on scholarships in the UK, by making flight tickets to Nigeria more accessible.
