Air Peace Vows to Repatriate Trafficked Nigerian Girls from Ivory Coast, Offer Free Medical Support

In a stirring show of compassion and national solidarity, Air Peace, Nigeria’s leading airline, has pledged to repatriate Nigerian underaged girls trafficked to Ivory Coast, following disturbing revelations made by social media activist, VeryDarkMan.

Dr Allen Onyema, Chairman of the Air Peace Group, expressed deep concern over the plight of the victims, strongly condemning the act of human trafficking which he described as “inhumane, callous, and absolutely ungodly.”

“We should discourage trafficking of any kind. It is inhumane and callous. It is absolutely ungodly and a good example of man’s inhumanity to man,” Onyema stated in a press release issued in Lagos.

Dr Onyema assured the public that Air Peace would fly the affected girls back to Nigeria at no cost, reaffirming the airline’s commitment to humanitarian causes.

He also announced that upon their return, the girls would receive free medical examination and treatment at the Duchess International Hospital in Ikeja, Lagos.

“Besides that, we are going to send all of them to Duchess International Hospital in Ikeja for free medical examination and treatment,” he affirmed.

Calling on relevant authorities to act promptly, Onyema urged the Nigerian Embassy in Côte d’Ivoire to locate and assemble the girls and liaise with Air Peace for their safe return.

He further appealed to the Federal Government to assume responsibility for the girls’ education and ensure they are properly reintegrated with their families.

The airline’s commitment adds a vital boost to ongoing efforts by human rights activists and international organisations in combating human trafficking.

Dr Onyema’s statement serves as a clarion call for increased national cooperation to stamp out trafficking and uphold the dignity of every Nigerian citizen.
