AON executives hold dinner in honour of new Aviation Minister in Abuja
The executive members of Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON), on Monday night in Abuja, held a dinner in honour of the newly inaugurated Minister for Aviation, Festus Keyamo.
Keyamo, who now takes charge of the Ministry of Aviation, was glad to receive the duo of Chief Allen Onyema, who is Vice President of AON and Chairman of Air Peace alongside Prof. Obiora Okonkwo, who is the spokesman of AON and Chairman of United Nigeria Airlines Company Limited.
The dinner, which was held at the expansive A-Class Restaurant in the Wuse area of Abuja, attracted people from different walks of life including the minister’s associates in the legal profession and schoolmates from his secondary school and university.
Despite the crowd of interested persons seeking to gain the new Minister’s attention, he still made time to attend to industry stakeholders who graced the event.
Details of the meeting were not made public but sources believe that the minister expressed his commitment to embrace the task ahead in line with the aviation road map.
