Arik Air Clinches Prestigious THE BIZZ Award 2024
Arik Air, one of Nigeria’s long-standing airlines, has added another feather to its cap by securing one of the world’s most coveted business accolades, THE BIZZ Award 2024.
The airline was honoured in the Inspirational Company category, a recognition that underscores its unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation within the global aviation sector.
The award ceremony, a dazzling affair held at the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort and Spa, brought together industry leaders from around the world.
During the event, Arik Air was not only presented with THE BIZZ 2024 trophy, symbolising its business excellence, but was also inducted as a Platinum Member of the World Confederation of Businesses (WORLDCOB).
This membership bestows significant privileges and responsibilities upon the airline, further solidifying its standing as a leader in the aviation industry.
The recognition did not stop there; Arik Air also received the World Business Leader award, celebrating the airline’s innovative approach, knowledge-driven operations, and systematic efficiency.
The accolades highlight the airline’s leadership in maintaining high standards and setting benchmarks within the industry.
Captain Roy Ilegbodu, Chief Executive Officer of Arik Air, and Captain Adetokunbo Adekunbi, the airline’s Chief Operating Officer, were both honoured for their Excellence in Business Leadership.
Their strategic vision and dedication to steering Arik Air towards continued success were acknowledged, marking a significant milestone in their professional careers.
The awards were accepted by Captain Adekunbi, who was joined by the airline’s Head of Corporate Communications, Adebanji Ola. Receiving the awards from Mr. Michael Bellido, Vice President of WORLDCOB, Captain Adekunbi dedicated the honour to the entire Arik Air team.
He praised their unwavering dedication to excellence and expressed deep gratitude to WORLDCOB’s Board of Directors for the esteemed recognition.
