He said the publication will also play a role in featuring personalities that perform creditably in their fields of endeavour and throw such to the public for evaluation and possible rewards.
Some of the council’s members, Olowo said, the birth of the Aviation Hall of Fame is novel, unprecedented and commendable in the Aviation Industry, in that the group of individuals who deserved such honour must have made a significant impact through proven historical contribution to the aviation sector.
“It endorses a verse of the national anthem which says, “The labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain”… and leaves a historical record for the generation to come. I doff my hat for the initiators of the novel idea.”
Dr Gbem said, “This is a highly commendable innovation that needs to be embraced and supported by all stakeholders both within and outside the aviation industry.
The members of the Advisory Council are to act as guides to the running of the AHoF for seamless, effective output.
