Aviatrix Hub, a leading Approved Training Organisation (ATO) in Nigeria’s aviation industry, has celebrated the graduation of its fifth batch of flight dispatchers.

The graduates recently completed an intensive six-week Advanced Flight Dispatch course at the institution’s centre near Concord Bus Stop, Murtala Muhammed International Airport road, Ikeja, Lagos.

During the graduation ceremony, Mrs. Victoria Adegbe, Chief Executive Officer of Aviatrix Hub, emphasised the importance of professionalism and discipline in the aviation sector.

She encouraged the new dispatchers to apply their acquired skills to enhance the industry’s image and safety standards.

“The aviation industry is a global village; therefore, you must continue to maintain the highest form of discipline, professionalism, and good conduct wherever you find yourself in order to remain relevant in the sector,” Mrs. Adegbe stated.

She highlighted the critical role of flight dispatchers in ensuring flight safety, from ground operations to passenger facilitation and until the plane reaches its destination.

Mrs. Adegbe also advised the graduates to maintain a friendly disposition when interacting with aircraft crew and to avoid allowing personal emotions to cloud their judgment.

She underscored the reliance of pilots and airlines on dispatchers to ensure aircraft and passenger safety, urging them to be patriotic when working with foreign airlines and to foster good relationships with colleagues and airport authorities.

Echoing her sentiments, Mr. Olatunde Oyewo, Aviatrix Hub’s Director of Training, urged the graduates to serve as good ambassadors of the training institute as they pursue their dreams in the aviation industry.

He noted the sector’s need for competent flight dispatchers due to their vital role in flight operations.

One of the graduates, Moses Emmanuel, confessed that the training significantly enhanced his skills and understanding of the industry’s demands and flight preparation processes.

Fellow graduates Racheal John-Adeniji and Alvin Ocheja also shared their enthusiasm and confidence in starting their careers in flight dispatch and operations within the aviation sector.
