Reflecting on his term, Dr. Jamoh expressed profound gratitude to the Federal Government for entrusting him with the pivotal role of Director-General.
He acknowledged the privilege bestowed upon him to serve Nigeria and contribute significantly to the maritime sector’s advancement over the past four years.
“I wish to express gratitude to Almighty Allah and the Federal Government for the privilege given me to serve Nigeria in this capacity,” remarked Dr. Jamoh, emphasising his commitment to the Agency’s mission.
Addressing the NIMASA staff, Dr. Jamoh affirmed his enduring connection to the Agency, pledging to remain an integral part of its family despite the conclusion of his tenure.
With over three decades of dedicated service, Dr. Jamoh recognised the collective efforts of the Agency’s personnel, lauding their professionalism and cooperation in fulfilling NIMASA’s mandate.
He urged them to sustain their commitment to excellence and extend full cooperation to the incoming leadership.
In reciprocation, Chudi Offodile expressed gratitude to Dr. Jamoh for his invaluable mentorship and leadership during his tenure as Executive Director of Finance and Administration.
Recognising Dr. Jamoh’s wealth of experience, Offodile emphasised the ongoing relevance of his expertise in shaping the maritime industry’s future trajectory, stating “The industry will continue to call on you for your expertise,” assured Offodile, underscoring the enduring partnership between past and present leadership.
The seamless transition adhered to the Federal Government’s established protocols outlined in the “End of Tenure Processes for Heads of Extra-Ministerial Departments, Director-Generals, Chief Executive Officers of Parastatals, Agencies, Commissions, and Government-Owned Companies and Succession Guideline,” issued on December 4, 2017.
