Comrade Ilitrus Amadu re-elected ATSSSAN President for second term
The Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN) has re-elected its incumbent national President, Comrade Ilitrus Amadu to steer the affairs of the association for the second term.
Ilitrus, who is also the Assistant General Manager, Legal at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), has been in the saddle at the helms of the association since January 2017, when he was elected for the first term.
The recent election, which took place in the early hours of today October 3, 2021, in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, returned him as the ATSSSAN President with 49 votes over his opponent, Amadu Danjuma of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), who had 34 votes out of 83 accredited delegates.
Other officials elected include Comrade Jaja Emmanuel as 1st Deputy Vice President, Adekoya Olasupo as 2nd Deputy Vice President, and Ogbuji Anthony returned as 1st Vice President.
Also among elected officials were Daneyang Elisha, Amupitan Martins, Shonebare Omotola, Okponyaha Amoge, Aminu Sarafa, Atashe Innocent, Tobi Slyvester, Emetu Chukwu, Sofolahan Gabriel and Aliyu Bello returned as Treasurer, 1st Auditor, Women Leader, 2nd Auditor, 1st/2nd/3rd Trustees, as well as 1st/2nd/3rd ex-officio.
