Dana Air introduces WhatsApp for seamless ticket booking
Intending travellers on Dana Air flights can now book tickets from the comfort of their homes using a WhatsApp platform introduced by the airline in cognizance of the preventive measures against COVID 19.
In a statement made available to TW, the Media Communications Manager of the airline, Mr. Kingsley Ezenwa, said introduction of the WhatsApp Booking platform is aimed at achieving success with the social/ physical distancing measures and to create ease of booking, payment and inquiries for its guests.
He also explained that the platform, which is the first of its kind in Nigeria, will serve as an alternative for seamless booking, inquiries, reservation and payment apart from the airline’s website, the Dana Air Mobile App and the self-service kiosk located at the MMA2 Ikeja, Lagos.
Speaking on the initiative, Ezenwa said, ”We care about the well-being of our guests and we want them to be safe. This is why we are introducing this initiative to keep our guests safe, while still booking and paying the smartest and safest way from anywhere around the world.”
