Ethiopian Airlines clinches ‘Best Airline of the Year 2022’ Award
Africa’s largest airliner group, Ethiopian Airlines has been awarded the best International Airline in Nigeria for the year 2022 by the National Associations of Nigerian Travel Agents (NANTA) at its end-of-year party held in Abuja.
NANTA said the award was in recognition of Ethiopian Airlines’ contribution to the travel business in Nigeria, having demonstrated steadfast support for the Nigerian travel industry.
Receiving the award, the Country Manager for Ethiopian Airlines in Nigeria Wondwossen Beyene said, “We are very happy that the biggest travel association in Nigeria NANTA has recognized our commitments to serve the people of Nigeria and our contribution to the travel stakeholders in the industry.
“Ethiopian has always been together with the public in times of good and bad and will continue to do so in the future as well. Ethiopian Airlines has never changed its support for Nigeria and Nigerians.”
Ethiopian Airlines operates to 4 destinations in Nigeria – Lagos, Abuja, Enugu and Kano. The airline has been flying to Nigeria since 1960 and is today one of the biggest airlines operating in Nigeria.
It is to be remembered that Ethiopian was the only international airline that flew to Kaduna when Abuja Airport was closed.
