Ethiopian Airlines Crowned ‘Airline of the Year – Global Operations’ for the Eighth Time at AFRAA Summit
Ethiopian Airlines Group, Africa’s leading airline, has clinched the prestigious “Airline of the Year – Global Operations” award for the eighth time at the African Airlines Association’s (AFRAA) 56th Annual General Assembly and Summit.
The event, held in Cairo from 17–19 November 2024, is the largest aviation gathering in Africa, bringing together top executives and stakeholders from the continent’s aviation industry.

In his acceptance speech, Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, highlighted the significance of the award.
