Ethiopian Airlines Launches Flight Service to Warsaw, Connects Africa with Central Europe
Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest network operating carrier, has announced the commencement of its new flight services to Warsaw, Poland.
The new route will operate four times a week, connecting Addis Ababa Bole International Airport to Warsaw via Athens.
The inaugural flight took off on Monday – July 1, 2024 – amidst a colorful ceremony at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, attended by the Ambassador of Poland to Ethiopia, high-ranking Ethiopian government officials, and executives from Ethiopian Airlines.
This new route is a significant milestone for Ethiopian Airlines, marking its 24th destination in Europe.
It highlights the airline’s ongoing efforts to expand its network, enhance global connectivity, and promote commerce and tourism between Africa and Europe. The flight schedule is as follows:
– ET 764 Addis Ababa (ADD) – Athens (ATH) – Warsaw (WAW): Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun
– ET 765 Warsaw (WAW) – Athens (ATH) – Addis Ababa (ADD): Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat
