This new addition will see six weekly flights operated by the cutting-edge Boeing B787 Dreamliner, promising passengers a seamless and comfortable travel experience between Africa and South Asia.

With this development, Ethiopian Airlines is further consolidating its presence in the South Asian region, offering travelers convenient connections from Bangladesh to a vast network of destinations across Africa and beyond.

The new flights will depart from Addis Ababa at times designed to ensure smooth connections to Dhaka, enhancing the overall travel experience for passengers.

The introduction of this new service between Ethiopia and Bangladesh is expected to have a significant impact on the socio-economic ties between the two nations, with the airline acting as a bridge for increased cooperation in trade, tourism, and cultural exchanges.

Ethiopian Airlines already boasts the widest network in Africa, with over 63 destinations, and this new route to Dhaka strengthens its links to Asia, bringing the two continents closer.

“Bangladesh is a dynamic and growing market, and we are confident that our modern fleet and exceptional service will meet the needs of travelers between our two regions,” remarked Mesfin Tasew, Group CEO of Ethiopian Airlines.
