FAAN MD commiserates with Lagos State Government over death of Deputy Chief of Staff
The Managing Director and Chief Executive of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, has expressed her deep sorrow at the sudden passing of Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor.
In her statement, Mrs. Kuku described Mr. Soyannwo as a highly skilled professional and a committed agent of progress who worked tirelessly behind the scenes of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.
“My heartfelt sympathy to you, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on the loss of your dear friend and confidant.
“He was a dependable ally, a lieutenant like no other. His demise has left a hole in our hearts and in the ‘Greater Lagos’ administration,” Kuku stated.
Mrs. Kuku extended her condolences to Mr. Soyannwo’s family, particularly his wife, Yewande, and their children.
“I grieve deeply with his wife, Yewande, and the children on the loss of their darling husband and father. Words fail me as I can not imagine the agony you are currently going through,” she said.
The FAAN MD offered sincere condolences, praying for divine comfort for the Soyannwo family and the Lagos State Government during this challenging period.
