At the 14th edition of the Nigerian Aviation Awards (NIGAV) and Ministerial Dinner, MMA2 emerged as the Nigeria Best Domestic Terminal and also bagged the Most All-Inclusive Airport Terminal Achievement Award, a recognition that celebrates its dedication to creating a seamless and accessible travel experience for all – families, people living with disabilities, mothers, and children inclusive.

The NIGAV Awards, widely regarded as Nigeria’s premier aviation honours, are conferred through a competitive process involving votes from both the travelling public and aviation industry stakeholders.

These accolades underscore MMA2’s reputation for operational excellence and customer-centric innovation within the nation’s aviation sector.

Adding to its growing list of accomplishments, BASL also gained international recognition as it was named Most Innovative Airport Terminal Operator – Nigeria by Global Brands Magazine, a leading UK-based publication.

Reacting to the multiple wins, Mr Kola Bamigboye, Acting Chief Operating Officer and Head, Space & Premises Management at BASL, expressed profound appreciation.

“We are honoured to receive these prestigious awards, which reflect the trust and recognition we have earned from both the public and aviation industry professionals,” he said.
