MMIA Road Construction: FAAN advises on early arrival at airport

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has advised passengers to leave their homes early in order to beat traffic caused by the ongoing reconstruction of the road leading the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

The Authority said in a statement on Sunday that the advice was necessary due to the traffic gridlock experienced by road users along the Oshodi-Airport Road axis.

To avoid missing their flights, as a result, the Authority appealed to all prospective passengers to leave their homes early so as to arrive the airport in good time and go through all check in formalities with ease.

FAAN also apologised for the inconveniences being encountered by passengers due to the situation, adding that it has already mobilized security agencies to ensure that the situation is effectively managed.
