NASHCO Sets New Timetable for 2nd Phase of 2024 Hair Creativity Competition

In the wake of #EndBadGovernance Nationwide protests that caused a significant disruption of events, NASHCO has unveiled a new schedule for the second phase of the 2024 Hair Creativity Competition across Nigeria.

The organisers have confirmed that the competition, powered by Kanekalon, will resume with a fresh lineup of dates and a strategic partnership with X-Pression hair.

This phase promises to elevate the art of hairstyling across Nigeria, showcasing creativity, skills, and innovation.

The last edition of the Darling hair will take place on the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th of September 2024 in Ogun State coinsideing with Kwara date which is also scheduled for 2nd, 3rd and 5th September 2024, marking the end of Darling’s first phase and the beginning of X-pression first phase.

The subsequent phase with X-Pression hair will continue with Enugu, Abia, Rivers, Lagos, and Ogun States.

As the competition journeys from the North-Central region to the South-East, South-South, and South-West, stylists are expected to showcase their best work in the three key locations within each state.

The competition, which has already set remarkable standards in Kano State, continues to build on its success.

With a renewed determination, NASHCO aims to inspire and uplift the hairstyling community, ensuring that future events not only meet but exceed the high expectations.

To motivate Stylists, NASHCO has announced an enticing lineup of prizes for state winners:

  • 1st Prize: a 2.5 KVA generator worth ₦350,000
  • 2nd Prize: a Suspended hair dryer worth ₦180,000
  • 3rd Prize: a Hand dryer, hair curler, and hair straightener worth ₦60,000

In addition to these, numerous consolation prizes will be awarded, encouraging stylists to push their boundaries and set new records in the competition.

As the 2024 NASHCO Hair Creativity Competition moves forward, the lessons learned from previous events will undoubtedly serve as a catalyst for improvement.
