Niger Republic repatriates 113 stranded Nigerians 

The Niger Republic has repatriated 113 stranded Nigerians back to the country.

TW gathered that the returnees were assisted back to the country in a voluntary capacity by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM). 

The South-West Zonal Coordinator of National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye confirmed that the returnees landed at about 14:15 hours aboard a chartered flight, a Boeing 737-500 owned by Sky Mali with registration number TZ-SMA. 

The returnees include 15 adult females, 2 with medical cases and 76 adult males, 7 female children, 15 male children and infants.

They were received at the Cargo Wing of the Murtala Muhammad International Airport upon arrival by the Refugee Commission, NAPTIP, FAAN and Nigeria Immigration Service.
