Nigeria: Air Peace resumes flight service to China, introduces new route
In an effort to enhance its global connectivity, Nigeria’s prominent airline, Air Peace, is poised to reinitiate its direct flight services to Guangzhou, China, on December 28, 2023.
In a statement signed by the airline’s spokesperson, Stanley Olisa, the airline said the revived route will allow passengers to fly from Accra to China and vice versa.
The airline emphasised that these developments align with the airline’s commitment to fostering socio-economic relations by providing efficient air travel options across cities and continents.
Air Peace initially launched its direct flights to China in 2022, experiencing a substantial passenger load during its inaugural flight.
Since then, the airline has expanded its international presence by introducing three additional routes in 2023 – Mumbai, Tel Aviv, and Jeddah.
A significant milestone for Air Peace was marked in August this year with a historic flight to the Caribbean nation, Antigua and Barbuda.
The airline also disclosed that it’s now gearing up for scheduled flights to London in the near future.
As a leader in Nigeria’s aviation industry, Air Peace boasts an extensive network comprising 21 domestic routes, 8 regional destinations, and 6 international connections.
The airline’s modern fleet, numbering over 30 aircraft, includes 5 state-of-the-art Embraer 195-E2s.
Notably, Air Peace recently confirmed an order for 5 additional Embraer 175s, signaling a commitment to ongoing fleet expansion and service enhancement.
The resumption of operations to China and the introduction of the Accra-China route underscore Air Peace’s strategic vision to strengthen its position in the aviation industry, offering passengers diverse travel options and contributing to the facilitation of international relations.
Travelers can anticipate the continuation of Air Peace’s dedication to excellence as it expands its global footprint and introduces innovative routes.
