Nigeria Customs Boss Promotes Work-Life Balance with Exercise Event in Kano
In a move towards promoting work-life balance and wellness among its officers and men, the Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi, spearheaded a Work-Life Balance exercise in Kano on Saturday, 27th July 2024.
The event, held at the Kano Race Course, witnessed active participation from the officers and men of the Kano/Jigawa Command.
Speaking at the event, CGC Adewale Adeniyi underscored the importance of regular physical activity for overall health and well-being. “Regular exercise is crucial for maintaining good health and improving service delivery,” he said.
“I encourage all officers to incorporate exercise into their daily routines as it contributes to better operational efficiency,” Adeniyi added.
The Work-Life Balance exercise is one of many initiatives by the Nigeria Customs Service aimed at promoting the well-being of its officers and ensuring they are fit to meet the demands of their duties.
