Nigeria: Dangote refinery registers key oil marketers as distributors, explores further partnerships
The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has officially registered three influential associations within the Nigerian oil sector, marking a strategic move in solidifying its distribution network.
The Dangote Group confirmed the registration of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria, Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria, and Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, collectively constituting 75 percent of the Nigerian market.
A statement released by the Dangote Group today – Tuesday, January 23, 2024 – highlighted their commitment to evaluating additional interested marketers, further expanding their collaboration with key industry players.
However, the Dangote Group has yet to disclose the market availability of the newly produced fuels or provide a timeline for the initiation of Premium Motor Spirit production, keeping stakeholders eagerly anticipating further details.
