Travelport, Air Peace Seal Multi-Year Content Deal to Boost Global Visibility, Distribution

Travelport, a leading global multi-source content provider powering travel bookings worldwide, has entered into a new multi-year content agreement with Air Peace Limited, Nigeria’s and West Africa’s largest airline, in a move aimed at strengthening the airline’s global content distribution and expanding its international reach.

Announced in London and Lagos, the strategic partnership will see Air Peace’s full range of flight content made available on Travelport+, Travelport’s next-generation marketplace used by hundreds of thousands of travel agencies across the world.

The agreement is expected to significantly enhance Air Peace’s visibility in Central and West Africa, as well as in key international markets where demand for seamless travel booking and rich airline content continues to grow.

Under the deal, Air Peace will leverage Travelport’s advanced retailing technology, rich content capabilities and branding tools to better showcase its products to travel agents and customers globally.

This aligns with a broader industry trend in which airlines, particularly in emerging markets, are prioritising modern distribution platforms that combine wide agency reach with next-generation retailing standards.

Air Peace currently operates extensive domestic and regional services across Nigeria and West Africa, alongside international flights to destinations in the Middle East, the Caribbean and the United Kingdom.

Through the expanded partnership with Travelport, the airline’s complete content offering will now be accessible to travel agencies worldwide via Travelport+, enabling more efficient booking processes and improved customer engagement.

Commenting on the agreement, Travelport’s Chief Commercial Officer, Damian Hickey, described Air Peace as a strategically important airline within West and Central Africa. He said the partnership would not only strengthen Travelport’s content offering in these markets but also support Air Peace’s ambition to extend its global footprint.

According to him, the agreement will allow Air Peace to deliver enhanced, branded content to travel agencies around the world, improving how the airline’s services are presented and sold.

Air Peace’s Chief Commercial Officer, Nowel Ngala, said the partnership represents a key milestone in the airline’s growth and international expansion strategy. He noted that, as Nigeria’s and West Africa’s largest carrier, Air Peace is focused on ensuring its services are easily accessible to travel agencies globally.

Ngala added that Travelport’s extensive reach and modern technology platform would support the airline’s objectives of growing sales, enhancing the customer experience and strengthening its presence in major international markets.

The agreement also reinforces Travelport’s strong footprint across Africa at a time when airlines on the continent are increasingly adopting distribution solutions that offer both broad global access and modern retailing capabilities.

Industry observers note that such partnerships are becoming critical as African carriers seek to compete more effectively on the global stage and respond to evolving customer expectations.

Travelport is headquartered in London and operates in more than 180 countries, connecting buyers and sellers of travel through its Travelport+ marketplace. The company was ranked number one among 160 travel software suppliers in a G2 survey conducted in December 2025, reflecting its growing influence in the global travel technology space.

Air Peace, meanwhile, continues to expand its fleet and route network, operating a mix of Boeing 777s, Boeing 737s and Embraer aircraft.

The airline plays a significant role in enhancing connectivity, supporting trade and tourism, and positioning Nigeria as a key aviation hub within Africa and beyond.
