UNA Rewards Four Winners with Return Tickets, Receives Excellence Award at Rotary Sports Festival

United Nigeria Airlines, one of the leading domestic carriers in Nigeria, has reaffirmed its commitment to corporate social responsibility and social cohesion by rewarding four winners with complimentary return tickets at the 2025 Rotary Sports Festival (ROSFEST’25) held in Lagos State.
The prestigious event, organised by Rotary District 9112, aimed to promote charity, teamwork, and physical fitness among Rotarians.
UNA, serving as the official airline sponsor of ROSFEST’25, demonstrated its dedication to connecting people, families, businesses, and communities through air travel.
During the festival, the airline presented return flight tickets to four lucky winners. Adeola Banjoko and Hakeem Amao were recognised as the best female and male golfers, respectively, while Halima Oluwakemi Olusesi and Rebecca Omokaro Isoke secured their tickets through a raffle draw held during the Awards Dinner and Raffle Night.
In addition to rewarding participants, United Nigeria Airlines was honoured with an Award of Excellence in recognition of its outstanding contributions to the Nigerian aviation industry.
The award underscored the airline’s role in enhancing connectivity, customer satisfaction, and service innovation across the country’s air travel sector.

Speaking at the event, Mr Raphael Uchegbu, Chief Commercial Officer of United Nigeria Airlines, highlighted the significance of the airline’s partnership with ROSFEST’25, describing it as a reflection of the company’s broader mission of uniting dreams, cultures, and people.
“Our sponsorship of ROSFEST’25 aligns with our vision of using aviation as a tool for unity and national development. As we continue to expand our impact, we remain dedicated to fostering social engagement through corporate social responsibility initiatives,” Uchegbu stated.
He praised Rotary District 9112 for its contributions to sports and charity, adding that the winners of the return tickets would enjoy additional benefits, including a one-year ticket validity, providing them with greater flexibility in planning their trips across the airline’s domestic network.
United Nigeria Airlines has been strengthening its presence in the Nigerian aviation market, recently introducing the Lagos–Abuja–Katsina route to its network. The airline also renewed its sponsorship deal with Nigerian Premier League giants, Enyimba FC.
Through strategic partnerships and social engagement, United Nigeria Airlines continues to uphold its motto: Flying to Unite.
