Experts, Policymakers to Chart Path for Sustainable Transport Infrastructure at JustNet Summit

Key stakeholders in Nigeria’s transportation industry are set to converge on Wednesday, 29th October 2025, at the Providence Hotel, GRA Ikeja, for the maiden JustNet Transport Summit, a high-level dialogue focused on the future of transport infrastructure in the country.
Themed “Nigeria’s Transport Infrastructure: Innovation for a Sustainable Future”, the one-day event is being organised by JustAlive Communications Limited, publishers of JustNet News, an online news platform dedicated to covering the full spectrum of transportation – aviation, maritime, waterways, rail and road.
In a statement, the Managing Director of JustAlive Communications, Mrs Pearl Ngwama, explained that the summit was conceived as a platform to bring together experts, professionals, and policymakers across all modes of transport to critically examine infrastructure gaps and chart innovative solutions.
“This summit will provide a platform for experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to share knowledge, best practices and standards, and proffer innovative solutions to address the challenges facing Nigeria’s transport infrastructure,” Ngwama said.
She noted that discussions will cut across aviation, maritime, waterways, road and railway systems, with the aim of fostering collaboration and highlighting strategies that will contribute to sustainable development.
Ngwama added that transportation remains a catalyst for economic growth, underscoring its significant contribution to Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
According to her, the summit represents JustAlive Communications’ commitment to supporting national development by providing a space for dialogue that connects policy with practice in the transport and logistics sector.
Industry watchers say the summit comes at a crucial time, as Nigeria grapples with ageing infrastructure, limited investment, and the urgent need for sustainable models to support trade, connectivity and economic transformation.
The JustNet maiden transport summit is expected to attract transport professionals, business leaders, investors, and regulators, with outcomes aimed at influencing policy direction and inspiring innovative approaches for the sector’s growth.
