Air Peace Restarts Daily Ibadan–Abuja Service from December 24, Announces N95,000 Entry Fare

Air Peace Limited has announced the reinstatement of daily return flights between Ibadan and Abuja from December 24, 2025, further expanding its domestic network and offering renewed relief to passengers travelling between the South-West and the nation’s capital.

The airline said the resumption became possible following the reopening of Ibadan Airport, which had previously been shut to commercial flight operations.

With normal activities now restored at the airport, Air Peace noted that it moved swiftly to meet the travel needs of passengers in Oyo State and adjoining regions who have long sought convenient air access to Abuja.

According to the airline, fares on the Ibadan–Abuja route will begin from N95,000, a pricing strategy aimed at providing an affordable and dependable alternative to road travel, particularly during the busy festive season when passenger traffic traditionally surges.

Air Peace explained that the reinstated Ibadan service is part of a wider operational ramp-up across its domestic network.

The airline recently announced the resumption of flights to Warri and the deployment of additional frequencies on several routes, measures introduced to cater for increased yuletide demand while laying the groundwork for sustained growth into 2026.

The airline also highlighted that the resumed operations will benefit from its expanding fleet, strengthened by the recent delivery of its third Embraer 190 aircraft.

The addition, it said, enhances operational resilience, improves on-time performance, and provides greater flexibility in route planning across its domestic services.

Reiterating its commitment to national connectivity, Air Peace stated that restoring flights to Ibadan underscores its focus on linking underserved markets, reducing travel stress for passengers, and facilitating socio-economic activities through efficient and reliable air transport.

Passengers were encouraged to make early bookings through the Air Peace website, mobile application, or accredited travel agents to secure the attractive introductory fares.

With this latest development, Air Peace continues to reinforce its position as Nigeria’s leading carrier, demonstrating strategic foresight and customer-focused responsiveness by expanding route options, maintaining competitive fares, and improving access across the country, especially during peak travel periods and beyond.
