Air Peace Unveils Expanded West African Flight Network to Boost Regional Connectivity from April 2026
Nigeria’s leading carrier, Air Peace, has announced a significant expansion of its regional flight operations across West Africa, unveiling new schedules designed to strengthen connectivity among major cities within the sub-region.
The enhanced services will take effect from 1 April 2026 and are aimed at improving travel efficiency, boosting trade, and deepening regional integration.
The airline disclosed that the expanded schedule will connect several key West African capitals, including Lagos, Abidjan, Dakar, Banjul, Accra, Monrovia and Freetown, creating more convenient travel options for passengers across the region.
According to the airline, the new schedules will improve connectivity across its growing West African network while enabling travellers to move more seamlessly between the sub-region’s commercial and political centres.

Lagos–Abidjan–Dakar–Banjul Route:
Under the new arrangement, Air Peace will operate flights on the Lagos–Abidjan–Dakar–Banjul corridor on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Departing from Lagos at 07:00, the flight will arrive in Abidjan at 07:50 before continuing to Dakar at 08:30 and landing at 11:30. The aircraft will then depart Dakar for Banjul at 12:10, arriving at 13:00.
The return service will depart Banjul at 13:40, arriving in Dakar at 14:30, before continuing to Abidjan at 15:10 with arrival scheduled for 18:10. The final leg from Abidjan to Lagos will depart at 18:50 and land at 21:40.
Lagos–Abidjan–Dakar Service
On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays:
Air Peace will also operate a Lagos–Abidjan–Dakar service designed to maintain frequent connectivity between the three important regional hubs.
Flights will depart Lagos at 07:00, arriving in Abidjan at 07:50 before departing for Dakar at 08:30 and landing at 11:30. The return journey from Dakar to Abidjan will depart at 12:10 and arrive at 15:10, while the final leg to Lagos will depart Abidjan at 15:50 and arrive at 18:40.
Lagos–Accra–Monrovia Operations:
As part of the new schedule, flights between Lagos, Accra and Monrovia will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The flight from Lagos will depart at 08:00 and arrive in Accra at 08:05 before continuing to Monrovia at 08:45 and landing at 10:45. The return flight from Monrovia will depart at 11:25, arriving in Accra at 13:25, before departing for Lagos at 14:05 with arrival scheduled for 16:10.
Lagos–Accra–Freetown Route:
Air Peace will also operate services linking Lagos, Accra and Freetown on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The outbound flight will depart Lagos at 08:00, arriving in Accra at 08:05 before departing for Freetown at 08:45 and landing at 11:35. The return journey will leave Freetown at 12:15 and arrive in Accra at 15:05 before departing for Lagos at 15:45 with arrival scheduled for 17:50.
Strengthening Regional Connectivity
Air Peace stated that the new schedules were carefully designed to improve travel efficiency across West Africa by enabling passengers to connect easily through the airline’s main hub in Lagos.
The airline noted that the expansion forms part of its broader strategy to position Lagos as a major aviation gateway linking West and Central Africa to international destinations.
The enhanced connectivity is also expected to support business travel, tourism, and cross-border trade among countries in the region, while promoting deeper economic cooperation within the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
Passengers and travel partners have been encouraged to take advantage of the expanded services, which will offer competitive fares and additional baggage allowance aimed at supporting both business and leisure travel.
