Jetour G700 PHEV to headline three-day luxury mobility showcase in Abuja

Jetour Nigeria is set to bring its latest luxury mobility offering to Abuja as it takes the all-new G700 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) to the Federal Capital Territory for a three-day showcase from September 22 to 24, 2026.

The event is expected to attract government officials, corporate executives, fleet managers, motoring enthusiasts and members of the media, following the brand’s recent major showcase in Lagos.

The Abuja activation is part of Jetour Nigeria’s efforts to deepen its presence in Nigeria’s premium automotive market and provide prospective customers with an opportunity to experience its flagship products.

The Jetour G700 PHEV is expected to be the major attraction at the event, with the manufacturer positioning the six-seat sport utility vehicle (SUV) as a combination of executive luxury, electrified mobility and off-road capability.

The vehicle is powered by Jetour’s Kunpeng Super Hybrid system and dual electric motors.

According to the company, the powertrain delivers a claimed combined driving range of up to 1,400 kilometres, a feature designed to address range concerns associated with electrified vehicles, particularly during long-distance journeys.

Beyond its hybrid powertrain, the G700 PHEV has been equipped with technologies aimed at improving its performance on difficult terrain.

The SUV features adaptive suspension, triple differential locks and a claimed wading depth of up to 970mm. These features, Jetour said, enable the vehicle to handle challenging off-road conditions while retaining the comfort and refinement expected from a premium SUV.

The vehicle’s exterior capability is matched by a luxury-oriented interior designed for executive and family use.

The six-seat cabin features Nappa leather upholstery, massage seats and a 35.4-inch 3K panoramic display. Other premium features include an 18-speaker Lexicon sound system and an onboard refrigerator.

Jetour Nigeria said visitors to the Abuja showcase would be able to experience the vehicle through an exclusive reveal, hands-on demonstrations and VIP test drives.

The company is expected to use the event to demonstrate the G700’s hybrid technology, luxury features and off-road capabilities to potential buyers and key stakeholders in the capital.

The Abuja showcase also comes on the heels of recognition for Jetour Nigeria by the Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA), which named the company the Fastest Growing Auto Brand of the Year.

The recognition, according to Jetour Nigeria, reflects the brand’s growing footprint and increasing visibility within the Nigerian automotive market.

Beyond vehicle sales, Jetour Nigeria said it was strengthening its ownership proposition through warranty coverage and after-sales support.

Customers purchasing Jetour vehicles through the company’s authorised network will receive a five-year or 150,000-kilometre manufacturer warranty.

The company said customers would also have access to genuine spare parts, software upgrades and certified technical support.

Jetour Nigeria currently operates through seven accredited dealerships across its network. They include Elizade Nigeria Limited, New Era AutoVehicle Services, Kojo Motors, Germaine Auto Centre, Tab Autos, R.T. Briscoe Motors and Mandilas Motors.

The company said the authorised dealership structure was designed to provide customers with access to sales and after-sales services as the brand expands its presence across the Nigerian market.

Prospective customers and automotive stakeholders have been invited to register for the Abuja experience, particularly those interested in securing VIP test-drive slots for the G700 PHEV.

Jetour Nigeria said registration details, vehicle specifications and updates on the event would be available through its website and social media channels.

The Abuja showcase is expected to further position the G700 PHEV in Nigeria’s emerging premium electrified vehicle segment, where consumers are increasingly considering vehicles that combine conventional long-distance usability with hybrid and electric technology.
