CFAO Mobility Nigeria has reiterated its commitment to innovation, sustainable mobility and customer-focused services as the company positions itself for further growth in Nigeria’s automotive industry.

The assurance was given by the Managing Director of the company, Denis Martin, during the 2026 CFAO Mobility Open Day held at Harbour Point Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event brought together automobile enthusiasts, customers, corporate partners and stakeholders from across the mobility sector, while serving as a platform for the company to showcase its broad range of products and services distributed in Nigeria.

Among the leading brands displayed at the Open Day were Toyota, BYD, Mitsubishi Motors, Suzuki, Yamaha, Fuso, JCB, Howo and King Long.

The exhibition also featured Toyota Material Handling equipment, TechKing Tyres, Winpart products and Auto Fast solutions, underscoring the company’s diversified presence across mobility, logistics and industrial support services.

A major attraction at the event was the presentation of a brand-new BYD Seagull to a lucky guest during the VIP evening cocktail organised for customers and business partners.

Addressing participants, Martin said the second edition of the Open Day reflected the company’s determination to improve consistently and deepen engagement with customers and stakeholders.

According to him, the growth recorded since the maiden edition held a year earlier demonstrates the company’s resilience and capacity to adapt to changing market realities.

“We held the first edition a year ago, and now we’re hosting the second. It’s clear we’ve made significant improvements, which is very encouraging,” he stated.

Martin observed that the global mobility and economic environment remains unpredictable, with rapid shifts in regulations, technology and consumer expectations.

However, he said CFAO Mobility’s wide portfolio of 14 brands places the company in a strong position to respond effectively to emerging opportunities and market demands in Nigeria.

“There is a lot of volatility, but there are also opportunities to grow and innovate,” he said.

The Managing Director emphasised that customer satisfaction remains central to the company’s operations, stressing that CFAO Mobility prioritises long-term support services in addition to vehicle sales.

He explained that after-sales support, maintenance services and spare parts availability are critical elements in ensuring customers derive lasting value from their vehicles.

“It’s not only about selling a car. What is important is keeping it running throughout its lifespan,” Martin added.

He further highlighted the strength of the company’s international network, noting that CFAO Mobility operates across 38 African countries through the backing of its parent company, Toyota Tsusho Corporation.

Martin disclosed that the company plans to unveil additional vehicle models and mobility solutions across its various brands as part of its expansion strategy in the Nigerian market.

Speaking on sustainability and environmental responsibility, he said the company is increasingly focusing on cleaner mobility technologies aimed at reducing fuel consumption and lowering carbon emissions.

According to him, Japanese automobile manufacturers continue to play a leading role globally in the production of fuel-efficient engines and environmentally friendly technologies.

He added that CFAO Mobility has invested in solar-powered solutions across its facilities while also expanding into alternative energy vehicles, including electric vehicles and compressed natural gas-powered buses and trucks.

Martin also called for policies that would encourage the adoption of hybrid vehicles in Nigeria, particularly through favourable import duty considerations, noting that hybrid technology remains one of the most practical solutions for cutting emissions worldwide.

He reiterated CFAO Mobility’s commitment to delivering safer, cleaner and more sustainable transportation solutions while maintaining steady growth in Nigeria’s highly competitive automotive market.

With more than 120 years of operations in Nigeria, CFAO continues to maintain a strong presence in both the mobility and healthcare sectors, making it one of the country’s longstanding multinational business groups.
