Ethiopian Airlines Group partners with Prime Minister’s Office to elevate Ethiopia’s hospitality experience
Ethiopian Airlines Group, Africa’s biggest carrier, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with the Prime Minister’s Office to manage and operate the ‘Dine for Ethiopia’ lodges under Ethiopian Skylight Hotel.
At a ceremony held in Addis Ababa, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two entities with a view to enhancing the tourism experience in Ethiopia by leveraging Ethiopian Airlines Group’s expertise in the hospitality industry.
As per the agreement, Ethiopian Skylight Hotel will take over the management and operation of four remarkable lodges: Chebera Churchura Elephant Paw Lodge, Halala Kella Lodge, Gorgora Ecolodge, and Wonchi EcoLodge.
In a statement, the airline said this strategic partnership seeks to provide unparalleled services to visitors, showcasing Ethiopia’s natural beauty, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality.
Mesfin Tasew, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Group, emphasised the close relationship between tourism and air transport services, stating that Ethiopian Airlines has been actively promoting tourism in the country.
He expressed excitement about elevating the hospitality experience in Ethiopia through the renowned excellence of Ethiopian Skylight Hotel.
“Tourism and air transport services are closely related industries. In addition to transporting passengers and cargo, Ethiopian Airlines has been working at a high level to promote tourism in our country.
“We are delighted to join hands with the Prime Minister’s Office to elevate the hospitality experience in Ethiopia. Ethiopian Airlines Skylight hotel is renowned for its commitment to excellence, and we are excited to extend our expertise to these remarkable lodges,” said Tasew.
