Africa’s largest carrier, Ethiopian Airlines, has added another route to its chain, sets to start flights to Johannesburg from Lagos via Lome.

The airline said the new route has a daily flight schedule which will begin from 15th of June, 2019.

Meanwhile, the General Manager, Ethiopian Airlines in Nigeria, Mrs. Firihiewot Mekonnen, has assured football lovers, who will be attending the African Football Nations Cup in Egypt and the female World Cup in France, of the airline’s readiness for hitch-free flight services to and from the hosting countries.

This is in line with the airline’s current trademark in sports, having served fans of the globally renowned British football teams – Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur – in their travel to Madrid, where the teams were hosted in Madrid for the Europian Champions League final match.

Ethiopian deployed three chartered flights from London, Liverpool, and Manchester carrying the fans to Madrid.

The airline is delighted that the supporters of the football teams enjoyed the features of its latest aviation technology aircraft along with the airline’s award-winning customer service and the overall travel experience.

“Ethiopian Airlines would like to thank the fans for choosing and giving us the opportunity to serve them,” the airline said.
