FAAN constitutes task force to manage traffic at MMA
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has constituted a task force to foster effective landside traffic management at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.
In a press statement made available to TW, the Authority assured that the task force will ensure improvement in the flow of vehicular traffic at the airport.
It said, “The objective of the task force, which is made up of officers from the aviation security department and other relevant security agencies shall be to control vehicular movement, prevent unauthorized parking at terminal forecourts/curbsides and enforce the drop-off/pick-up zone policy of the airport.”
FAAN has advised passengers and drivers to “please” cooperate with the officials and ensure compliance to the guidelines given by the officers.
