New Premium Fashion Brand Luciana Womenswear Debuts with ‘Radiance Collection’

A new entrant into Nigeria’s premium fashion industry, Luciana Womenswear, has officially launched with the unveiling of its maiden Radiance Collection, promising to redefine women’s fashion through timeless designs, purposeful craftsmanship and an innovative artificial intelligence (AI)-powered virtual shopping experience.

The fashion house, founded by Luciana Ojeniyi, said it is entering the market with a mission to inspire women to embrace confidence, elegance and authenticity through clothing that reflects both their personal identity and leadership aspirations.

Built around the philosophy “Own Your Light,” the brand seeks to challenge the notion that femininity and authority are mutually exclusive, insisting that women can be graceful, stylish and powerful at the same time.

Speaking on the launch, Ojeniyi said the vision behind Luciana Womenswear extends beyond creating fashionable garments, explaining that the brand was established to encourage women to express themselves confidently in every sphere of life.

She said fashion has the ability to communicate identity and presence, adding that every design produced by the company is intended to support women who lead with confidence without compromising their individuality.

According to her, the inspiration for the brand emerged during a period of personal reflection after leaving paid employment, when she rediscovered her passion for fashion as a medium for confidence, identity and self-expression.

She revealed that the biblical passage in Matthew 5:14, “You are the light of the world. Let your light shine before others,” became the foundation upon which the company was built, eventually inspiring its enduring message of “Own Your Light.”

Ojeniyi said the philosophy now guides every aspect of the business, from product development and marketing campaigns to customer engagement.

She explained that the debut Radiance Collection was designed specifically for women who regularly transition between professional responsibilities and personal commitments.

The collection comprises signature dresses, structured day dresses, occasion wear, statement pieces and premium separates carefully created to suit boardroom meetings, conferences, corporate events, networking engagements, social functions and family celebrations.

Rather than following short-lived fashion trends, the company said it prioritises classic styling, refined finishing and versatile designs that remain relevant over time.

According to the founder, the objective is to produce garments that women can wear repeatedly while maintaining a sense of sophistication, confidence and elegance.

The company identified its core clientele as entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, business founders, creatives and women occupying leadership positions across different sectors.

It said these women value quality, authenticity and intentional living, making fashion an important expression of their confidence and personal values.

A defining feature of the brand is its use of the pomegranate as its signature symbol.
Luciana Womenswear explained that the fruit was deliberately selected because it has historically represented abundance, wisdom, vitality and feminine strength across many cultures.

The company noted that the symbolism mirrors the character of the women it seeks to serve – individuals who project grace and composure while possessing remarkable resilience, determination and inner strength.

This symbolism is reflected in the pomegranate-inspired prints incorporated throughout the Radiance Collection, reinforcing the brand’s message of confidence and empowerment.

Beyond fashion design, Luciana Womenswear is also introducing a technological innovation aimed at improving online shopping.

The company announced the rollout of what it described as Nigeria’s first AI-powered Virtual Try-On technology, integrated directly into its online retail platform.

The feature allows customers to upload a photograph and digitally preview how selected outfits may appear on them before completing a purchase.

According to the company, the innovation addresses one of the major challenges facing online fashion retail by reducing uncertainty over how garments will look or fit.

It believes the technology will enable customers to make more informed purchasing decisions while enjoying a more personalised shopping experience.

Ojeniyi said Nigerian consumers increasingly expect convenience and innovation when shopping online, adding that the AI-powered feature reflects the company’s commitment to delivering a premium customer experience.

She said every interaction with the brand has been intentionally designed to empower women and make shopping easier, more engaging and more personalised.

Luciana Womenswear will operate exclusively through its dedicated online platform, allowing customers to purchase its collections from anywhere in Nigeria.

The company also announced plans to serve international customers, with deliveries available to selected markets including the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and the United Arab Emirates.

The Radiance Collection, which became available on 19 July 2026, marks the beginning of what the company says will be a long-term commitment to producing premium womenswear that combines elegance, versatility and innovation.

With its emphasis on timeless fashion, technology-driven customer experience and a philosophy centred on empowering women, Luciana Womenswear is positioning itself to establish a distinctive presence within Nigeria’s growing premium fashion industry while expanding its reach into international markets.
