United Nigeria Airlines, Samsung Delight Travellers With New Galaxy Phones in ‘Awesome Row’ Campaign

Passengers travelling on United Nigeria Airlines on Monday, June 1, were treated to an exciting surprise as the carrier, in collaboration with Samsung, rewarded lucky customers with newly released Galaxy smartphones as part of its “Awesome Row” campaign.

The initiative, which highlighted the growing partnership between one of Nigeria’s leading domestic airlines and the global technology brand, saw three passengers emerge winners during a live onboard lucky dip conducted on flights operating between Lagos and Abuja.

The beneficiaries of the promotion – Hamid Ibrahim, Chidi Chinedu and Gbenga Bello – were selected from among passengers travelling on the Lagos–Abuja and Abuja–Lagos routes and walked away with Samsung’s latest Galaxy devices.

Beyond the prizes awarded to the lucky winners, passengers on the flights were also given exclusive in-flight access to Samsung’s newly unveiled Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 smartphones, allowing them to experience the features of the devices firsthand during their journey.

Reacting to the successful outcome of the campaign, the Chief Commercial Officer of United Nigeria Airlines, Dayo Olawuyi, said the initiative was a demonstration of the airline’s dedication to providing memorable experiences for its customers while reinforcing the values upon which the carrier was built.

According to him, United Nigeria Airlines remains committed to connecting people and fostering relationships across the country through its network of services.

The airline executive congratulated the three winners, expressing delight over the enthusiasm generated by the campaign.
“We are very thrilled for Hamid, Chidi and Gbenga, and we congratulate them on their wins,” he added.

Olawuyi further stressed that customer experience remains at the heart of the airline’s operations, saying the company would continue to introduce initiatives that make travelling with United Nigeria Airlines more rewarding and memorable.
