AutoFast by CFAO Moves to Cushion Former Moove Drivers with After-Sales Support
AutoFast by CFAO has renewed its commitment to providing maintenance and after-sales services to former Moove drivers in Nigeria, assuring them of continued access to professional vehicle servicing, quality lubricants and affordable spare parts following the ride-hailing company’s exit from the country.
The company said it recognised the concerns of former Moove drivers regarding vehicle maintenance, repairs and the availability of essential replacement parts after the end of Moove’s operations in Nigeria.
It, however, assured the drivers that its relationship with them would continue, noting that it had provided servicing and maintenance support for the vehicles for more than four years.
AutoFast by CFAO said its renewed commitment was aimed at helping drivers keep their vehicles in good working condition, reduce avoidable breakdowns and minimise downtime that could affect their daily earnings.
The company explained that the vehicles remained important economic assets to many of the drivers, making reliable and affordable maintenance services essential to sustaining their livelihoods.
As part of measures to support the affected drivers, AutoFast by CFAO is offering dedicated service assistance, free vehicle diagnostics, priority servicing and access to quality Motul lubricants.
It is also introducing a loyalty programme that will reward returning customers with exclusive discounts on their third service.
According to the company, the initiative is designed to make vehicle maintenance more accessible and convenient while ensuring that drivers can obtain timely servicing without unnecessary approval delays.
Speaking on the initiative, the General Manager of Winpart by CFAO and AutoFast by CFAO, Mr Eric Fantodji, said the company understood the importance of the vehicles to the drivers, having maintained them throughout its four-year relationship with the Moove platform.
He said the company’s priority was to ensure that former Moove drivers continued to enjoy dependable after-sales services, professional technical support and affordable maintenance solutions despite Moove’s departure.
Fantodji also cautioned drivers against using unsuitable engine oils, emphasising that maintaining the recommended lubricant specifications was critical to protecting the vehicles’ engines.
He explained that AutoFast had used Motul lubricants in servicing the vehicles from the beginning of its partnership, particularly because of the sensitivity of their 0.8-litre and one-litre engines.
“Our relationship with these drivers spans more than four years, and we understand how important their vehicles are to their livelihoods. Our priority is to ensure they continue to have access to dependable after-sales support, professional servicing, and affordable maintenance solutions,” he said.
According to him, switching to inferior or inappropriate lubricants could damage engine components, compromise performance and expose vehicle owners to expensive repairs.

He urged drivers to maintain consistency in using lubricants that meet the manufacturers’ recommended specifications to extend engine life and avoid unnecessary maintenance expenses.
Beyond routine servicing, AutoFast by CFAO said it was also making essential spare parts, including oil filters, air filters, brake pads and other maintenance components, available at affordable prices.
Fantodji said the company remained committed to providing quality products and professional services that addressed the practical needs of the drivers.
The support services are available at AutoFast by CFAO’s Sanusi Fafunwa and Amuwo Odofin service stations in Lagos, where former Moove drivers can access free diagnostics, priority servicing, affordable spare parts and the loyalty programme.
AutoFast by CFAO provides multi-brand vehicle maintenance, servicing and repair solutions for individual motorists and businesses. Its operations are complemented by Winpart by CFAO, which supplies automotive spare parts and lubricants.
The company said its continued support for former Moove drivers was intended to ensure that the change in Moove’s business operations would not disrupt their access to reliable vehicle maintenance and technical assistance.
