Zaina Lodge Targets Nigerian Tourism Market With New Weddings, Wildlife Experience Packages
Zaina Lodge has announced plans to introduce its newly developed Weddings and Wildlife experience packages to Nigerian travel operators through a specially organised familiarisation tour aimed at strengthening tourism partnerships and promoting luxury safari experiences in Ghana.
The northern Ghana-based eco-luxury lodge said the initiative would provide Nigerian tour operators and travel professionals with an opportunity to experience the destination firsthand, while exploring its unique blend of wildlife adventure, conservation and premium hospitality.
Situated within the scenic savanna landscape near Mole National Park, Zaina Lodge is positioning itself as one of West Africa’s emerging safari and destination wedding locations, combining nature, exclusivity and authentic African experiences.
According to the lodge, the familiarisation tour is designed not only to showcase its accommodation and facilities, but also to immerse participants in the natural and cultural heritage of the region.
Visitors are expected to participate in guided safari drives and walking tours led by experienced wildlife experts, while also enjoying panoramic sunset views across the savanna, photography sessions during the golden hour and traditional cuisine inspired by local Ghanaian flavours.
The lodge noted that its signature tented chalets and elevated infinity pool overlooking the wilderness provide guests with a cinematic view of the surrounding ecosystem, creating what it described as a deeply immersive safari experience.
Management of the lodge explained that the newly introduced Weddings and Wildlife packages were developed to cater to the growing demand for destination weddings, honeymoon escapes and experiential travel among African travellers, particularly from Nigeria.
The packages are expected to offer couples and tourists the opportunity to combine romance with adventure, while enjoying luxury accommodation in a serene wildlife environment.
Speaking on the upcoming tour, the lodge emphasised its commitment to creating meaningful travel experiences rooted in sustainability and conservation.
“Zaina is a place meant to be felt, not just visited,” the lodge stated. “We are so excited to have you here with us to experience, capture, and share the soulful magic of this incredible place,” it added.
The management further stressed that the initiative would enable Nigerian operators to gain practical knowledge of the property and its offerings, thereby helping them better market Ghana as a premium tourism destination to travellers seeking alternative African holiday experiences.
Industry observers believe the move reflects growing tourism collaboration within West Africa, as hospitality operators increasingly target regional travellers interested in luxury, culture and eco-tourism.
The lodge also drew attention to the local expression “Maraaba,” a traditional word from the area meaning “welcome again,” similar to the Ghanaian greeting “Akwaaba,” which symbolises warmth, hospitality and a return to adventure in the heart of Africa.
