Jetour, Seven Dealers Target Abuja Market With Dashing, Other Models
Jetour Nigeria and its seven authorised dealers are intensifying their drive to expand the brand’s presence in the Federal Capital Territory with the staging of the Jetour Experience Abuja from September 22 to 24, 2026.
The three-day automotive activation is expected to bring the company’s growing range of sport utility vehicles (SUVs), led by the award-winning Dashing compact SUV, closer to motorists in Abuja and neighbouring states.
The event will offer prospective customers, automobile enthusiasts and families an opportunity to see the vehicles first-hand, interact with product specialists and take part in test drives and product demonstrations.
The participating authorised dealers are Elizade Nigeria Limited, Kojo Motors, Mandilas Autos, Germaine Auto Centre, R.T. Briscoe, Tab Autos and New Era Auto Vehicle Services Limited.
The collaboration between Jetour Nigeria and the dealers is expected to provide visitors with access to both the vehicles and the after-sales support available through the brand’s authorised network.
At the centre of the Abuja activation will be the Jetour Dashing, which has emerged as one of the company’s prominent models in Nigeria’s compact SUV market.
The Dashing recently received industry recognition after being named the 2025 Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) Car of the Year.
The award has provided additional visibility for the model as Jetour seeks to strengthen its position in a Nigerian market where demand for SUVs has continued to shape competition among automobile brands.
The Abuja Experience follows the Lagos edition of the activation, which attracted thousands of visitors who had the opportunity to test-drive Jetour vehicles and engage with product specialists.
The company said the level of interest generated in Lagos, coupled with enquiries from motorists in Abuja and neighbouring states, contributed to the decision to take the experience to the Federal Capital Territory.
The move also reflects the growing importance of Abuja as a market for premium and technology-focused vehicles, with the city serving as a major commercial and administrative centre and attracting customers from across the country.
For Jetour, the activation provides an opportunity to move beyond conventional vehicle displays by allowing potential customers to experience the products directly before making purchasing decisions.
The Dashing is designed around a combination of contemporary styling, technology, performance and practicality. The compact SUV is available with 1.5-litre and 1.6-litre turbocharged engines, with the powertrain options delivering up to 145kW of power and 290Nm of torque.
The engines are matched with six- or seven-speed dual-clutch transmissions, depending on the variant.
Inside the vehicle, the Dashing features a technology-oriented cabin with a 15.6-inch central touchscreen infotainment display.
Other convenience features include a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging and smartphone integration, offering occupants connectivity and entertainment functions during journeys.
The vehicle also incorporates a range of safety and driver-assistance technologies aimed at improving awareness and protection.
These include a 360-degree surround-view camera, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and blind-spot detection, alongside multiple airbags.
The availability of these features is expected to form part of the demonstrations during the Abuja Experience, giving visitors the opportunity to examine the technology and understand how the systems operate.
Beyond the Dashing, Jetour Nigeria and its dealer partners are expected to use the event to showcase other vehicles within the brand’s expanding Nigerian line-up.
The broader display will enable customers to assess different body styles, specifications and vehicle configurations based on their individual requirements.
The involvement of the seven authorised dealers is also significant to Jetour’s expansion strategy, as the company seeks to ensure that the growth in vehicle sales is supported by an established network for maintenance and customer care.
The dealers provide access to warranty services, genuine spare parts and after-sales support, helping customers maintain their vehicles after purchase.
For a market such as Nigeria, where the availability of spare parts and dependable after-sales services can influence vehicle-buying decisions, the dealer network is expected to remain an important component of Jetour’s growth strategy.
The Abuja Experience will consequently serve a dual purpose: promoting the vehicles while strengthening the relationship between Jetour, its dealers and existing and prospective customers.
The event also provides the company with an opportunity to gather direct feedback from motorists about their expectations regarding vehicle design, technology, performance, pricing and ownership support.
With the Nigerian SUV market becoming increasingly competitive, manufacturers are placing greater emphasis on customer experience, product differentiation and access to after-sales services.
Jetour’s decision to bring its Experience platform to Abuja is expected to further expose its models to customers outside Lagos and support its efforts to build a stronger nationwide presence.
The company’s growing line-up, which includes the Dashing and other SUV models, is being presented as part of its broader push to establish a stronger foothold in Nigeria’s automotive market.
As the three-day event gets underway, motorists in Abuja and neighbouring states will have an opportunity to assess the Dashing and other Jetour models through direct interaction, demonstrations and test drives.
The organisers expect the activation to deepen customer engagement, strengthen the visibility of the brand and provide a platform for Jetour and its authorised dealers to expand their reach in the Federal Capital Territory and the wider northern market.
