Versat Positions EXEED for Nigeria’s Growing Premium Automotive Market
Versat Automobile Limited is intensifying preparations for the full introduction of EXEED to Nigeria, with the premium automotive brand seeking to differentiate itself through advanced technology, distinctive design, driving performance and a philosophy centred on exploration.
The company said the latest phase of the brand’s pre-launch activities would provide Nigerian consumers with a better understanding of the values, engineering capabilities and design principles underpinning EXEED, following its initial introduction to the Nigerian market in August.
EXEED, a premium brand within the Chery Automobile family, is building its identity around intelligent automotive technologies, sophisticated styling and enhanced driving experiences as it prepares to establish a presence in Nigeria’s premium vehicle segment.
According to Versat Automobile, EXEED benefits from Chery’s investments in automotive research and development, which cover vehicle architecture, powertrain engineering, intelligent cabin systems and connected driving technologies.
The company explained that the brand’s approach to innovation focused not merely on incorporating more technological features into vehicles but also on ensuring that such features contributed meaningfully to convenience, connectivity, performance and the overall experience of motorists.
This approach is intended to address the changing expectations of premium vehicle buyers, who increasingly consider technology, comfort, functionality and ownership experience alongside conventional measures of luxury.
Design is another defining element of EXEED’s market positioning. Its vehicles combine distinctive exterior proportions, lighting arrangements, detailing and cabin architecture, with emphasis on balancing visual appeal with practical everyday use.
Versat Automobile said the philosophy reflected a broader understanding of premium mobility, in which the quality of a vehicle is measured not only by its appearance but also by how it functions and interacts with occupants.
The brand’s identity is further expressed through its slogan, “Born for More”, which reflects its ambition to appeal to consumers seeking experiences beyond conventional expectations.
Its Spirit of Exploration philosophy emphasises challenging established conventions, embracing new possibilities and viewing mobility as an opportunity to discover more.
Versat Automobile believes the combination of technology, design and performance could help EXEED respond to evolving preferences in Nigeria’s premium automotive market, where buyers are increasingly attentive to the features and experiences offered by vehicle manufacturers.
The General Manager, Sales, Versat Automobile Limited, Christopher Irumudomon, said the company’s objective was to introduce a distinctive perspective on premium mobility rather than simply add another name to the country’s automotive market.
“The introduction of EXEED is about more than bringing another automotive brand to Nigeria,” Irumudomon said. “It is about introducing a different perspective on premium mobility, one that brings together technology, design, performance and the freedom to explore.”
He said EXEED had a distinctive philosophy and a clear vision, adding that the company was enthusiastic about helping Nigerian consumers understand the brand and its offerings.
As preparations continue, Versat Automobile said it would release further information about EXEED’s products, technological capabilities and design philosophy.
The company’s team is also scheduled to attend the International User Summit in China in October, where it will engage with developments in automotive innovation and emerging technologies.
The visit will provide an opportunity for discussions with Aimoga, a high-end robotics brand, highlighting the growing relationship between robotics, intelligent technology and future mobility solutions.
The engagement underscores the increasing convergence of automotive manufacturing and technological innovation as the industry explores new ways of improving vehicle functionality and mobility experiences.
Established in 2024, Versat Automobile Limited entered the Nigerian market in 2026 with C&C Trucks. The company is developing a portfolio of international automotive brands, with an emphasis on quality, durability, reliability, performance and customer support.
Its responsibility for introducing EXEED to Nigeria marks an expansion of its activities into the premium passenger vehicle market.
With further announcements expected as the pre-launch process progresses, EXEED is seeking to build consumer awareness around its technology-led approach, distinctive design and exploration-driven identity ahead of its broader introduction to the Nigerian market.
